Your data is acquired and processed as follows:
Data Acquisition
Personal data is acquired only in the context of the voluntary registration for one of the events organised by us. The extent of the data collected results from the questions asked in the registration forms for participant registration or submission of an abstract. When you visit our website, the server will automatically record the following data: Names of the files accessed, date and time of access, volume of data accessed and your web browser and domain including the IP address of your computer.
Data Processing and Use
The data for registration for a congress entered online or by mail/fax is used only for the registration as a participant or for booking a hotel room. All orders are listed and confirmed in the registration documents, including your payment transactions. With your registration, you give your consent that the data will be processed by KMB Lentzsch.
Information about name and place is used to make name badges, occasionally also to draw up lists of participants which will be distributed on site.
Name and address are also used for certification and to credit continuing education credit points. In that case, the information – maybe supplemented by your signature or the bar code – is forwarded to the respective medical association or an appropriate further education institution.
KMB Lentzsch does not intermediately store credit card payment data but the data is transmitted directly to the payment service provider. We retain all invoice-related data in accordance with the statutory requirements.
With your registration, you also give your consent to receive information from us by mail or e-mail on the booked and other events on similar subjects and to be contacted about any queries relating to contract management.
In all these cases, you are entitled to withdraw your consent to the storage of your personal data at any time. You may send your revocation by e-mail or mail to our address.
Data Forwarding
With your registration, you also authorise us to forward all data to the organiser on request, as in many projects KMB Lentzsch keeps the data only in trust for the organiser. Name and contact information of the organiser are shown on the registration form or the agenda.
Data is forwarded by e-mail with the greatest possible care based on the state-of-the-art standards of safe data transmission.
